The purpose of this report is to provide a startup eCommerce website with industry insights and comprehensive knowledge on how digital marketing can be beneficial towards expanding the business.
The primary goal for the report is to provide a marketing strategy for Go Groovy, to increase awareness as well as increase audience engagement. All tactics are catered towards the target persona, which is the ideal clientele.
During the initial meeting with Go Groovy, the client indicated their interest in promoting the upcoming spring collection titled Wildflower. The strategy provided by the marketing team is based around promoting the new collection, as well as utilizing the new collection to promote awareness and engagement amongst the audience. Go Groovy currently sells the majority of products in person at craft fairs. With the goal to strengthen the e-commerce aspect of the business, the digital marketing strategies provided in this report are the stepping stones for Go Groovy to jumpstart their business to becoming a predominately online business.
The marketing team conducted an in depth audit on the company's current state of the website, social media platforms/strategies, search engine optimization techniques and marketing tools. These audits helped the marketing team gain insights into the current state of the business and provide recommendations for further improvement.
The report also covers an audit and strategies for on page, off page and technical search engine optimization on Go Groovy. The company has not currently implemented all the optimization techniques on the website and can further be improved.
The report provides an insight on the current state of Go Groovy's social media strategy as well as an extensive plan for recommendations that can be adapted for future campaigns. The company social media strategy is currently present, but not fully utilized to reach its maximum potential. A company's social media presence can be vital for increasing the company's awareness amongst the target audience, and generate valuable engagement with customers that will further strengthen the company's brand reputation.
The report also provides insights on effective digital marketing tools to use, as well as how to utilize Google Analytics in the most optimal way for the business. Go Groovy has not currently created the necessary tools within Google Analytics that will provide the company with important knowledge regarding the market and the target audience.
